Texas Shooting Venue, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “Texas Shooting Venue”) operates an event venue in Conroe, Texas offering blacklight clay shooting experiences and tactical steel target courses. This Legal Notice governs your use of our website (texasshootingvenue.com) and participation in any activities at our venue.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING NOTICE
By accessing or using our website, booking a session, or entering our premises, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Legal Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or visit the venue.
1. Inherent Risks of Activities
Shooting sports, including blacklight clay shooting and tactical steel target courses, are inherently dangerous activities. They involve the use of firearms, flying clay targets, loud noises, recoil, and potential for flying debris or fragments.
Risks include, but are not limited to:
- Serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death
- Hearing damage or loss
- Eye injury or loss of vision
- Property damage
- Other unforeseen risks
These risks exist even with proper safety equipment and professional instruction. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with your participation or presence at Texas Shooting Venue.
2. No Warranty
All information on this website is provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content. We reserve the right to update or change information at any time without notice.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, Texas Shooting Venue, its owners, managers, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of this website
- Your participation in any shooting or venue activities
- Any injury, loss, or damage you may suffer while on our premises
This includes damages caused by negligence on our part, to the maximum extent allowed by law.
4. Requirement to Sign Waiver
All participants and observers must sign our Liability Waiver and Release of Liability before engaging in any activities. The waiver includes a full release of claims, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement. Minors (ages 16–17) require a parent or legal guardian to sign on their behalf.
By booking or attending, you confirm that you (and all members of your group) will sign the waiver. Failure to do so will result in denial of service with no refund.
5. Compliance with Rules
You agree to abide by our Shotgun Shooting Rules, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and all instructions from our range safety officers. Violation of any rules may result in immediate removal from the premises with no refund and possible ban from future visits.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Texas Shooting Venue and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your actions, negligence, or breach of this notice or our rules.
7. Governing Law
This Legal Notice shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Montgomery County, Texas.
8. Severability
If any provision of this notice is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
9. Changes to This Notice
We reserve the right to modify this Legal Notice at any time. Your continued use of the website or visit to the venue after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
By proceeding with a booking or visiting Texas Shooting Venue, you acknowledge that you have read this Legal Notice, understand the risks involved with shotgun shooting and venue activities, and agree to all terms.
