Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: April 14, 2026

At Texas Shooting Venue in Conroe, TX, we strive to provide a safe, fun, and memorable blacklight clay shooting and event experience for all guests. Because our sessions involve limited scheduling, staff preparation, and perishable resources (such as ammunition and range time), we maintain the following refund and cancellation policy.

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule your booking at least 48 hours before your scheduled session time for a full refund or full credit toward a future date (subject to availability).
  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your session will not qualify for a refund. You may receive a credit toward a future booking if we are able to fill your spot.
  • No-shows (failure to arrive for your reserved time) will result in no refund or credit.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email (details below). We recommend doing so at least 72 hours in advance when possible to guarantee flexibility.

2. Group & Venue Rental Bookings

  • For corporate outings, private venue rentals, bachelor/bachelorette parties, or large group bookings (8+ people), a non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking.
  • Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance may receive a partial refund minus the deposit and any incurred costs.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date will generally not be refunded.

3. Weather & Acts of God

  • In the event of severe weather (e.g., lightning, heavy rain, or high winds) that makes shooting unsafe, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional charge or offer a full refund.
  • We monitor weather closely and will make every effort to notify you at least 2 hours before your session.
  • Minor rain or light weather does not qualify for cancellation or refund, as our blacklight experience is designed for evening/night sessions under covered or protected areas where possible.

4. No Refunds in These Situations

  • Rule violations or unsafe behavior: If a participant is asked to leave due to failure to follow our Shotgun Shooting Rules or safety instructions, no refund will be issued.
  • Late arrival: If you arrive after your scheduled start time, we may not be able to accommodate you, and no refund will be given.
  • Change of mind after the 48-hour window.
  • Alcohol or drug impairment: Anyone appearing impaired will be refused service with no refund.
  • Tactical steel target sessions where the participant does not meet the experience/equipment requirements.

5. Refunds Process

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Credit card refunds may take additional time depending on your bank.
  • We do not issue cash refunds for credit/debit card purchases.

6. Transfers & Guest Changes

  • You may transfer your booking to another person up to 24 hours before the session, provided the new participant meets all age, waiver, and eligibility requirements.
  • For group bookings, minor changes to guest count (within reason) can often be accommodated with advance notice.

7. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

Please include your booking reference number, name, and date of the session in all communications.

8. Changes to This Policy

Texas Shooting Venue reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of your booking will apply.

By booking a session at Texas Shooting Venue, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy, our Shotgun Shooting Rules, and the terms of our Liability Waiver.
